Description

This session will be entirely led by Ducker Carlisle, presenting key findings from research into what the aftermarket is up to today. We’ll split our focus evenly between automotive/powersports and heavy equipment players. At the end of the presentation, we’ll have open time for Q&A with the audience to dig deeper into the most interesting findings, opening up discussion with the OEM group. The presentation will detail the state of the aftermarket industry by covering the following questions:   Who are the biggest aftermarket players?  What service levels have repair facilities come to expect from the aftermarket? In what ways are these service levels better or worse than OEMs?  What are our projections for the growth of the aftermarket? Is this based on market share change on a unit basis, or pricing change, or both?  What are aftermarket customer perceptions of their supplier/distributors (sourced by interviews)? What are the key drivers of customer loyalty for this channel? How are the aftermarket players growing their market share? E-commerce channel, dealer incentives, other?
